Linda Sue Smith 65, of Marana, AZ, passed away on October 30, 2007 with her loving family at her side. She is survived by her daughter and son, Dawn Smith and Dale Ward (Amanda) Smith; granddaughter, Shyah Smith; two loving sisters, Patricia McCabe and Sandra Waldrip; cousin, Phyllis Murphy; as well as many other family members and friends who will forever hold Linda in their hearts. Services will be held at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, Avra Valley Ward, 13450 N. Lon Adams Rd., Marana, AZ on November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.

The woman in the above obituary was the mother of one of my closest friends, and she was a real sweetheart of a woman. The type to give the shirt off her back to help her friends, I never saw her turn anybody away. Through turmoil and heartache Linda remained strong, and now she is in heaven at God's right hand... looking down on those she left behind and keeping watch. Linda my friend, this is for you.

God looked around his garden,

And saw your tired face.

He knew you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
